It's just busy work, and nothing ever feels consequential or important. Even removing some stuff like sprinting, so you would take longer to play(and be unable to beat the tutorial in the 2 hour refund window), or sleeping at night to improve how rested you are. Part of why it's bad is because the devs didn't really communicate, or fix EA stuff. I played early access on steam, and then played it in 1.0.
